Suqaar Restaurant: East African Cuisine – Authentic Somali & East African Flavors in Niagara Falls

I had an amazing experience at Suqaar Restaurant! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked real authentic East African taste. The service was very friendly and welcoming, and the staff made sure everything was perfect. The atmosphere was clean, relaxing, and great for families or friends. I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys delicious Somali and East African dishes. I’ll definitely come back again!

Very good food. Meat quality was great. We ordered roasted goat and BBQ chicken. Both were amazing. Rice, salad and pasta was all fresh.

The food was amazing. My husband took the goat, I took the rice and chicken platter, my son took the bbq chicken and my daughter the four chicken drumsticks. The four chicken could be more flavorful.

Suqaar Restaurant in Niagara Falls is a must visit if you’re Somali and in the area. I had the goat and rice the night before and it was so good I had to grab another order the next day for the road trip back to New York City. The staff was incredibly friendly and they customized my order exactly how I wanted it with no vegetables just goat and rice and even gave me extra sauce. If you’re looking for authentic Somali food with great service while visiting Niagara Falls this is the spot

10/10 for me. As an East Africa in Niagara Falls, I needed this so much. Authentic, well made East Aftican food. I ordered a couple of items via uber eats last night. Food arrived hot and fresh. 1. The Samosas - 10/10 a tear dropped for sure. This hit the spot. The outside - crispy, the beef feeling 10/10 2. Rice - this was made so well. Perfect single single rice. Very fluffy. Loved it 3. The be goat meat - the seasoning was great, I would have loved it a bit more cooked to be softer but 10/10 taste and pairs well with the rice 4. Side salad - that lettuce was crispy 8/10 5. The meal came with some green chili sauce and my oh my! That was perfect in the samosas but also on the goat meat. 6. MANGO JUICE - this was perfect 11/10 General 10/10. I will be ordering my samosas from here moving forward. Excited to try the entire menu

I tried this East African restaurant for the first time today, and the Beef Suqaar with Rice was delicious. It had a warm, home-cooked feel — tender beef, fresh vegetables, and mild spices that were comforting and easy to enjoy. The portion was generous, and the flavors were simple but satisfying. If the restaurant interior were a bit more organized, it would make the dining experience even better. Still, the food itself was wonderful. :) thank you I would definitely come back again.

Amazing shawarma, always fresh, authentic, great friendly service, best I’ve had in Niagara Falls. Affordable as well. I always feel good after eating it too. Highly recommend and I will continue to support this place.

I visited Suqaar with my husband and 3 young children and we all agree that it was a great experience. The food was made fresh and was very well seasoned, portions were generous and prices were fair. Small indoor dining space available and free onsite parking.
